Medication Aide Bridge

Our Medication Aide program offers a bridge to current nurse aides who have completed a 75-hour nurse aide training program to become a Medication Aide and pass medications in a licensed assisted living facility or adult foster care. This program teaches the basic medication administration skills needed to perform the job safely.

As a medication aide, you give prescribed topically and orally administered medications under a nurse's supervision. You make sure that the six rights of medication administration - correct person, drug, dose, time, route and documentation - are followed.
